Herkules Equipment Corporation has designed and built a new Scissor Lift Table that Tilts and Rotates, providing a unique solution for certain applications. This lift system was specifically requested for an application that raises, spins and tilts large containers of special liquids during the production process which improves the ergonomic conditions for workers.

The tilt is limited to an angle of 10 degrees maximizing control during the process. The manual rotate turns 360 degrees and the air brake allows it to be securely locked in any position for ease of processing and operator safety.

Manually rotating the 42” x 64” platform is effortless due to the high grade bearing used within the lift system. Push and pull forces are as low as 5 pounds. Rotation can be performed in both directions, providing maximum flexibility.

The lift system has a 4,000 lb capacity, with a full raised height of 32”. All controls are located on one remote pedestal.

Portable Air Jacks – A Quick, Solid Jack For Any Lifting Needed

(10042) Herkules Equipment Corporation offers convenient, portable Air Jacks that are a compact and powerful tool for supporting, leveling or positioning heavy equipment. The Air Jacks feature an internal stabilizing cylinder ensuring stable, solid positioning. Dual safety valves prevent both over-inflation and uncontrolled deflation. They are easy to use and virtually maintenance-free.

Two sizes are available. The AJ2 is equipped with 2 air bags and has a closed height of 6-½” and a raised height of 13”. The AJ3 is equipped with 3 air bags and has a closed height of 7-7/8” and a raised height of 19-1/4”. Both have a capacity of 4500 lbs. A psi of 90-110 is required.

The Air Jacks are light-weight yet provide heavy-duty results with unlimited possible applications. Ideal for positioning anything to a more ergonomically correct working height, or raising equipment for placing components in position more effectively.

They are 100% air operated and simple to use. Just attach to an air line. Optional accessories include a two inch and a four inch extension for increasing the raised height.

Ergonomic Pallet Positioning with Herkules Air-Operated Lift & Rotate

(10039) Herkules’ Pneumatic Lift & Rotate offers the lowest profile in the industry – just 6.5 inches. Rotation is manually operated, and can be locked into any position with an air brake. The Lift’s travel is a full 25 inches, and if specified, travel can reach 75 inches. Ideal for pack and unpack operations, workers can position every pallet at the optimum height and position to minimize strain

while completing the task. The low profile allows a taller pallet load to be transported, ultimately reducing shipping costs.

Herkules designs and builds all pneumatic Lift systems with standard stocked modules, so customization is simple and less costly. All pneumatic Lift modules incorporate Herkules patented Air Bag™ technology which provides a direct one-to-one lift ratio. The lifting motion is smooth and stable. Herkules Power Rotate – Multiple Position System An Alternative for Assembly Line Efficiency

(10033) Herkules Power Rotate-Multiple Position System allows assembly workers to retrieve parts continuously by easily rotating a full bin to within operational reach, keeping production on schedule. The rotating base is air-powered with a spiral gear, and is equipped with an outer ring of support casters for offset loads. The power rotating function is bi-directional and provides 360 degrees of operation with zero effort positioning.

It is ideal for facilities that are structured with stationary assembly operations, and for plants that require a bin of parts in queue to meet production requirements.

Herkules’ Cart Scissor Lift for Fork-Free Manufacturing Plant

(10011) Herkules Equipment Corporation’s newest Cart Positioner has been designed for an assembly plant’s F2 cart to reduce ergonomic problems for their workers. Operators can easily raise and lower material on their carts to the desired height reducing back strain and other potential injuries while loading or unloading. The cart positioner was designed

to exactly fit the existing cart’s size and capacity needs for a smooth implementation into the facility’s fork-free transition.

Many safety features were designed into this cart positioner strengthening the objective of keeping all workers protected from possible harm, with the result being increased productivity. A whisker-style cart present switch will enable the lift to operate only when a cart is loaded correctly. A green wink eye located on the control pedestal visually informs the operator that the cart is properly loaded. Herkules’ Lift Systems Are Utilized by NASA for the Ares I-X Constellation Program

(10005) Herkules Equipment Corporation worked closely with United Space Alliance (USA) for the upcoming Ares I-X mission by customizing a lift system that enabled rocket engineers to securely load 2400 pound parachutes into a booster rocket. Herkules’ engineering team designed the lift system to meet all of USA’s unique specifications including raised height, travel, foot print, portability and all strict NASA safety standards with a 3 times safety factor. The lifts are currently used at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

The purpose of the three lift systems is to accurately raise the 3 large “rocket sized” parachutes independently to meet the top section of the booster rocket. The parachutes are then packed correctly and ultimately deployed in the first stage separation +123 seconds after lift-off. Fork pockets allow the lift to be moved when and where it is needed. The small footprint, combined with the required high raised height, created unique safety challenges that were answered in the design process to USA’s satisfaction, guided by strict regulations.

Herkules’ New Zero Level Lift & Tilt

(10004) Herkules Equipment Corporation’s New Zero Level Lift and Tilt provides an easy method for loading material onto a lift table using a pallet jack. No need to wait for a fork lift or spend money on expensive floor excavation. The lift’s platform is only 3/8” lowered and the lift travels 25.5 inches. The tilt can be operated independently of the lift, positioning materials perfectly within the operator’s reach for better ergonomics.

The 2,000 lb capacity lift and tilt is controlled easily with a joystick controller on a pedestal. Roller wheels are captured to prevent the lift table from tipping, and internal anchoring holes are provided to secure the lift to the floor. Safety skirting is available.
