Many safety features were designed into this cart positioner strengthening the objective of keeping all workers protected from possible harm, with the result being increased productivity. A whisker-style cart present switch will enable the lift to operate only when a cart is loaded correctly. A green wink eye located on the control pedestal visually informs the operator that the cart is properly loaded. Steel skirting is attached to prevent operators from any pinch points between the cart and the floor. Lead-in angles assist in guiding the cart onto the lift properly and efficiently. A removable safety bar is inserted once the cart is loaded on the positioner to secure the cart in place.
